I can’t believe that I’ve actually started crafting my holiday gifts! Usually, I don’t start until closer to Thanksgiving and then I have the crazy idea that I am “CraftWoman”! Yes, a super hero crafter that can complete projects 100x faster than what is humanly possible. Then, what usually happens is people receive half finished gifts with notes promising that I’ll be finishing them soon!
Yea…pretty lame.
Well, the benefit of me being more on top of things is that I can share my projects in a timely manner with you! YAY! Check out what I’ve recently completed…knitted coffee cozies!
The black yarn with vibrant colors peeking through reminds me of beautiful stained glass windows….hence the “original” name!
So what inspired this project?
These little gems!
Yes, I saw this bag of cute bonbon yarn and I just HAD to purchase it. These little bobbins of yarn may look small but there’s actually more yarn than you would think. I already knitted up these 4 Colorful Knitted Coffee Cozies and I still had some yarn left.
Now I don’t know about you, but my yarn stash has quite a bit of “project leftovers” and I really didn’t want any additional “scraps” so I scratched my head and came up with these….
I was able to whip up these two knitted coffee cozies from the remaining bonbon yarn from my Colorful Coffee Cozies and I still have some bonbon yarn left! Yup! These are super easy to make and will make amazing holiday gifts for coffee, hot tea, and cocoa lovers. Are you ready for the pattern?

I can’t believe it took me this long to find ways to utilize the beautiful colors of Lion Brand bonbons. Who would have thought that something so cute could be used to make some fun holiday gifts?
Now, all I have to do is make some cappuccino mixes to complete these gifts! How about some White Chocolate Peppermint Cappuccino or some Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino?
