When I was a little kid, the only salad dressing options were: French, Italian, blue cheese or 1000 island. I remember when ranch came out and boy, was it awesome! I went from tolerating salads to LOVING salads.
Now, you can find all sorts of ranch varieties at the store…but at a cost. The bottled varieties are filled with a lot of ingredients that I can’t pronounce and the “ranch packets” are costly. So, what’s a girl to do? Search the internet for inspiration, play in her kitchen, and come up with a recipe to make her own ranch dressing mix.
So, I searched the internet and there are quiet a few ranch recipes out there. Each has some of their own twists but the ingredients that all of them shared include: parsley, dill, garlic and onion. So, after searching and looking at the various recipes, here’s my version of dilly ranch dressing mix.
