Thanksgiving is just around the corner and #myfavoritebloggers have put together some great “thanks” projects for you today. Before I share everyone’s projects, I’d like to share mine with you.
When my family goes to a Chinese restaurant, we always enjoy opening our fortune cookies and sharing our fortunes. My favorite was a fortune my daughter received one time. It read, “Disregard previous cookie”. Well, these fortune cookies got me to thinking. What if we applied this to concept to our Thanksgiving dinner rolls?

Thanks Dinner Rolls
Supplies:
- A tube of Grands Biscuits or a batch of your favorite bread dough
- Parchment paper
Preheat your oven to 375 Degrees F.
I had a tube of Grands Biscuits….enough dough to make 8 dinner rolls. Then, I googled “thanks in different languages.” There are a ton of websites and you can find “thanks” in so many languages. Here are the 8 that I chose to use.
Next I cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and rolled each piece in a ball. I folded each paper strip so that the words (pen ink) are inside and won’t cook into the rolls). I placed the 4 dough balls with the “thanks” nestled in the middle into a muffin tin. Repeat with all 8 biscuits.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve and have each person break open their dinner rolls. Then, have them say the word and have everyone else guess which language they are saying “thanks” in. You can repeat languages or have each roll have a different language. This is really up to you. My guys had a blast with this!
What do you think? Would this add some fun to your Thanksgiving holiday? Are you ready for some more “Thanks” projects?
