Halloween, in my opinion, is the one holiday that is a 100% kid holiday. Now, when I say kids, I am also including the child inside each of us. It’s the one holiday that is truly all about having fun!
A couple of years ago, my family was “BOOed” for the first time! Being “BOOed” is where someone secretly leaves you a Halloween teat along with a sign for you to display that says “We’ve Been BOOed” and an instruction sheet. Then, you are to secretly leave goodies on two additional neighbors’ porches. Talk about a great way to spread the Halloween spirit.
I still had my BOOed sign and instruction sheets and got to thinking. My daughter is in her first, “big girl” one bedroom apartment. If I BOOed her this would be a great way to get some Halloween excitement around her apartment complex. She may even want to do this around the school where she teaches. So, I decided to create some signs and instructions for her and decided to share them with you in case you’d like to “BOO” your neighbors!
First off, here are two different “BOOed” signs…choose whichever one you’d like to use.

For the “I’ve Been BOOed” sign click HERE. (I think this would be a great sign for sharing around the workplace)

Now, all that is left to do is to put together your treats and then sneak them over to 2 neighbors’ houses (FYI, my treat was some Halloween candy placed in a lunch sack along with the instruction sheet). Are you ready to spread the Halloween spirit? I hope my daughter has some fun with this….do you think she will?
