Every couple of months, I participate in “Craft Lightning”. A bunch of bloggers join in and share a craft you can do in 15 minutes or less (excluding drying time) based around a theme. Well, this week, the theme is “Halloween Crafts”! What I’m going to share with you is a super quick and easy,
Glow in the Dark Monster Flower Pot
This project was inspired by Krylon’s Glows Spray Paint. It dries in 15 minutes and really does glow (after your item has been in the sun). It’s really cool stuff. Anyway, let’s gather our supplies!
Supplies:
- Flower pot
- Glows spray paint
- Black spray paint
- Black acrylic paint
- Black paint pen
- 2 Nuts (from a nut and bolts set)
Are you ready to get this project started? In a well ventilated area (I go outside), spray paint your flower pot with Glows and spray paint your 2 nuts with black spray paint.
Adhere your nuts to the sides of your flower pot (I used a glue gun).
Using a black paint pen, draw on your monster’s face. Then paint the rim of your pot with black acrylic paint to give your monster hair. That’s it. I wish you could see it glow but I just couldn’t get a good photo.
