Does anyone know how to appease the technology gods? Specifically, how to appease the digital camera gods? I made the mistake of taking pictures of my amazing Pi Day project and saving them internally, not on an SD card. Well, big mistake ’cause I still can’t download them. My camera is currently at a photography shop. Pretty please keep your fingers crossed that they can find out the problem and download the photos!
In the meantime, I’d like to share something I made for a St. Patty’s Day care package for my daughter.
Yup, shamrock cocoa and you’ll never guess what the two “proprietary” ingredients are.
Yes, white chocolate instant pudding and frosting creations flavor mix in mint chocolate! I was inspired by this recipe for White Hot Cocoa from Adrianne of Happy Hour Projects. To make it green, my initial idea was to add food coloring to Adrianne’s amazing recipe but I was afraid it would clump. Then, I was walking down the baking aisle of Beuhler’s (a local grocery store) and I came across a display of frosting creations. These are packets of powdered flavored mix-ins to transform your vanilla icing into a new flavor. A-ha!
Here’s the recipe so you too can make some this Sunday (be sure to visit stop by and see the recipe that inspired me here).
Shamrock Cocoa

I wonder how this would taste if you used Chocolate Pudding?
Green cocoa, brilliant. PS. did you try removing your SD card , connect your camera directly to your computer, to see if your camera would default to the internal memory?
What a clever idea! Thank you so much for sharing it over on Hearthfelt Hopes!
This is so fun! I love the idea of colored cocoa….and my kids would, too! Thanks for sharing!!
