What is your to go snack food? Are you a sweet and creamy person? Are you a crispy and salty person? My amazing mother always had a soft spot for nuts. I never used to but I do now. Whenever I go to Whole Foods, their freshly roasted/flavored nuts always seduce me into purchasing some. The only problem is they are NOT cheap. Well, when it comes to food, the best way to ensure quality while keeping costs down is to make it yourself.
I’m so happy to let you know that roasting and flavoring your own nuts is super simple! Today, I’m going to share with you how you can do this in your oven and tomorrow I’m going to share with you how I roast almonds on the stove top.
As many of you know, when I discover something new that I absolutely LOVE, I tend to get a bit obsessive about it. Well, the “Chai” flavor combination is one I’m really enjoying now. So, today I’m going to share with you the Chai Spiced Almonds I made the other day.
Don’t they look yummy? And believe it or not, they are super easy. You’ll be enjoying these babies in no time. And, if you’ve never had fresh roasted nuts, you are in for a treat! Here’s how!
Chai Spiced Almonds
These almonds are not super sweet and the spices are flavorful yet light enough that you can still enjoy the almond flavor. If you’d like a sweeter or spicier snack, just increase the amount of sugar or spices to your liking.
I’ll see you tomorrow with another almond treat!

Yumm! I love these spicy nuts! I have made them with walnuts, but not with almonds. Sounds good!

I’ve always been known to be a bit ‘nutty’ Marilyn. *wink* But I love them too, any kind. You’re killing me with these spicy recipes. This one will be a keeper for sure. xx

This is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing! Blue Diamond has some awesome blueberry, strawberry and raspberry flavored almonds that I’ve been snacking on lately. I’ll have to make these though. They sound really yummy!
