It was shortly after my 21st birthday that my girlfriends and I went out and I had my first White Russian. I was in heaven. The creaminess combined with kahlua with the punch from the vodka….yummo! I am putting together some of my menu items for the upcoming holidays and I got to thinking, what if we gave the old White Russian a chocolaty twist? Yup, a Chocolate Russian!
Now before I continue, this is for all of us that are 21 and over…oh, and drink responsibly and never drink and drive, okay? Now, let’s make a Chocolate Russian, shall we?
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
- 2 oz Kahlua
- 1 oz Vodka
- 4 oz Chocolate milk
- Ice cubes
As always, start off by measuring out all your ingredients. My life is full of distractions so I find it very helpful to have each ingredient ready and set aside before I actually add them to my glass.
Now, if you have a cocktail shaker, add all your ingredients and give them a good shake. Pour your drink into a glass and serve.
If you don’t, just add your ingredients in your glass and give them a good stir. Serve.
Doesn’t this look absolutely delicious. Here’s a birds-eye view. Are you drooling yet? It’s definitely a yummy way to end your day.
If you like this twist, check out my Raspberry Amaretto Sour . It too is absolutely delicious and I bet your holiday guests would love it as well!
