When I was a kid, the only way you could enjoy coffee was to either have it black or add cream and/or sugar. No fancy flavors. Nothing special. Then, Maxwell House International Cafe coffees became available. The first coffee options for “at home enjoyment.”
That was a while ago. Now, it seems that cappuccino is all the rage. Yes, in coffee houses, in gas stations, along with at your local grocery store (in the coffee aisle). The problem is that cappuccino can be pretty pricey. Well, how about making your own? Previously, I have shared recipes for Instant Caramel Cappuccino, Instant Chocolate Hazelnut Cappuccino and Instant Vanilla Hazelnut Cappuccino. Today, I’m sharing a recipe for……
Instant White Chocolate Peppermint Cappuccino
Ingredients:
- 1 cup instant coffee
- 3 cups powdered dry milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups coffee creamer
- 2 small boxes of instant white chocolate pudding
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cups crushed peppermint candy
Directions:
Place the white chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candy in a food processor and blend until the chocolate chips and peppermint candy are chopped into small pieces.
Add the remaining ingredients to your food processor and blend until all your ingredients are thoroughly combined. (Note: you could blend everything by hand but I find that doing this in the food processor helps to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated. It also breaks down everything into a powdery form which aids in dissolving your mixture into hot water later).
Store your cappuccino in a zip lock bag or in a jar with a tight fitting lid. This makes approximately 6 cups of cappuccino.
This is so easy to put together for gift giving yet everyone will be amazed that you made this. Trust me! Everyone will have their fingers crossed that you will be giving this to them again next year!
