Okay, we’ve grilled some Black Peppered Scallops, and some Super Yummo Grilled Salmon, I think we need a vegetable, don’t you? I previously shared how you can Grill Romaine Lettuce and Grill Cauliflower, so …..
Grilled Baby Bok Choy
Grilling baby bok choy is very similar to grilling romaine lettuce….okay virutally the same. And it has very similar results! The grilling process removes any of the bitterness that may be offensive to some while bringing out the natural sugars. Are you ready?
Ingredients:
- 2 or 3 heads of baby bok choy
- olive oil
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- grill
Directions:
Cut each head of baby bok choy in half length wise. Brush the cut side with olive oil.
Place the cut side down onto a hot grill and cook until nice grill marks appear. This just takes a few minutes.
Now turn your baby bok choy over and cook on the non-cut side for 3 minutes or so (until it has nice grill marks as well).
Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper and serve. This methods of cooking vegetables will get even your pickiest eater to say, “yum!”
I’ll see you tomorrow morning at 10:00 with grilling inspiration no. 4!
