Good afternoon, friends! Are you ready for my next grilling inspiration? Just like the Grilled Black Peppered Scallops I shared with you this morning, my husband was totally blown away by this….
Grilled Salmon
My family is a fish family. We probably have fish, on average, 2 times a week. So, I’ve had a lot of practice cooking fish. Well, let me tell you, my husband’s response to this salmon was, “this is the best salmon I’ve ever had!” Are you ready to make some? Here’s how
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Grill, of course
Once your grill is good and hot, brush with oil. Then, place your salmon fillets, skin side down, onto the hot grill. Place the lid onto the grill and cook undisturbed approximately 15 minutes . You will know when your salmon is done when it begins to “ooze” or release it’s natural fats (it looks white) and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Trust me, this salmon is super yummo! My hubby can’t wait to have it again!
See you back at 10:00 pm for inspiration no 3!
