If you have never worked with washi tape (paper tape) it’s amazing. You can find a 4 roll package of paper tape in the office supply section of Target for just $4.00…yup, the equivalent of $1/roll. However, the choices are very limited. One of the best deals online is from Downtown Tape. Their tape is just $1.99/roll and shipping is a flat $2.95 on US orders and $5.95 on international orders. Oh, back to the project.
Just clean and dry your glass holder. Then apply washi tape. Yup, that’s all there is to it. (Oh, also remove the label from the Bath and Body Works candle). Here are two that I made (the one on the left with without the candle and the one on the right has the candle, with label removed, inside.)
The other great thing about washi tape is it is not super sticky so you can remove the tape and apply a different tape for a different holiday. Can you get any simpler that this?
So here are the first 4 projects I have shared with you. Along with today’s washi tape candle holder, we have pine cone winter decorations, spice jar ornaments, and a bow tree. Come back tomorrow to see what I’m sharing for day 5!

Downtown Tape is awesome. Also, I’ve found another great place online to buy washi tape is CuteTape.com. The prices on the tape can be slightly higher than DT, depending on what design you choose, but shipping starts at $1.95. Score!
