How to Recapture Pictures You Accidentally Deleted Off Your SD Card

Okay, you're ready to document that special event:  wedding, school performance, that batch of cookies for your blog, oh, so many things.  You've got your camera complete with fully charged batteries and your handy dandy SD card.  Yup, you're ready.

So, You take the photos and review them on your handy dandy camera.  Oh, you should have been a professional photographer...they look AWESOME!  You put your camera down on the table and you are ready to work on dinner.

After the kids are in bed, you are ready to download your pictures onto your computer and OMG....

THEY'RE GONE!!

THE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES....

MISSING!!!

WHAT HAPPENED???????

SOMEHOW THEY WERE DELETED FROM YOUR SD CARD...

AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take a deep breath and don't panic! "What?" you say.  "How can I not panic?  My perfect peach pie was on that SD card and it's already been eaten?  I'll have to make a new one?  Oh, and the pictures of my kids helping me make the pie....oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!!!"

Like I said, don't panic.  This happened to me recently and I found a wonderful online program.  Just go to www.cardrecovery.com.  It's a very easy program you can download and use.  The catch is it does cost $39.99 (bummer).  The upside is, before you purchase, you can scan your SD card and review the pictures it found so if it doesn't work you aren't out any money!

Anyway, this did occur to me only I lost half of my pictures in my big bathroom floor re-do that I wanted to share with all of you.  Thanks to this program, I'll be able to get a post out.

I know I'm breathing a little easier now!
