When you hear things on the news about the cost of college tuition, they don’t even discuss to cost of books. My two oldest children are current college students and the cost of their books always blows them away. In fact, winter quarter, my son priced his books as new and they would run over $500! Crazy.
I was so excited when Campus Book Rentals saw that I had children in college and asked that I review their website. Well, let me tell you, I’m so glad I did. Here’s what I learned.

Let’s take a look at a book. My son is currently taking abstract algebra. I’m not sure which text book he purchased but here is one of the options offered through Campus Book Rentals.
The list price for this book is $220.95 with a used price from Amazon of $65.69. If my son had rented it from Campus Book Rentals, his cost would have only been $23.77 (his school is currently on quarters). What a great savings.
I know I’ll be sharing this information with my two oldest before they purchase their books this fall. Anyone else currently a college student? Does this interest you?
