Cupcakes, Cookies, and Pie, Oh My

Do you have a couple of stores that are definitely tops on your “favorites” list?  I sure do.  One of them is definitely Costco!  They have high quality goods and very reasonable prices.

I was at Costco yesterday picking up some supplies for my husband’s business along with items for home.  I took a stroll down the book section and saw the most amazing book:  “Cupcakes, Cookies and Pie, Oh My” by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson.  It has the most amazing ideas ever!  Take a look!

Isn’t this gorgeous?

Rice Krispie houses…no need to bake gingerbread

Soda Shop, anyone?

Love these mini cake slices on a fork!

This could be a great treat for a “Chicken Run” party!  (my family loves Nick Park films!)

Looks so real, doesn’t it!

My guys love pie so this twist on a hand held pie/turnover would be a bit hit!
A festive addition to next year’s Thanksgiving!

This would be a fun treat to have at an Easter Egg Hunt party

Can a woman ever have to many pairs of shoes?

I have a dear friend whose hubby works in the bovine industry.  She would love this!

What a fun play on words “Pigs in a Blanket”  :D

New take on cookies and coffee/tea/cocoa!

These puppies are so darn cute….Valentine’s Day next year?

 Don’t you love these guys?

No, not nachos…a cheesecake!  (My guys also adore cheesecake)

This is just a sampling of what the book has:  there’s a whole lot more.  My daughter is a cupcake girl and my original plan was to give it to her for her birthday (she already owns “Hello Cupcake”, and “What’s New Cupcake”, by the same authors).  However, upon further inspection, I think this one will go into my library!

If you like what you see, stop by your local book store and pick up a copy.  If you can’t find it, I provided link to Amazon for your convenience.
